All original watercolors are painted with Holbein and Winsor & Newton professional artist watercolors on 300lb Arches Rag. That means the “paper” is not really paper, not made from wood pulp but from cotton. Also, the 300lb refers to what 1,000 of these cotton rag “papers” weigh together.

Each painting evolves over many hours from drawing to finished painting. I savor the process of applying the watercolor to the shapes and details I have drawn. It feels like I have homed in on something beautiful and participated in that beauty by seeing and painting it attentively.

The price of all paintings is for the painting. Framing, packing and shipping or hand delivery by me are separate.

Small Paintings- a ¼ sheet of watercolor rag 11×15 $750

Medium Paintings-a ½ sheet of watercolor rag 15×22 $1,500

Large Paintings-a full sheet of watercolor rag 22×30 $3,000

X-Large Paintings-an “elephant” sheet of watercolor rag 30×44 $6,000

Below the paintings that are available I have included drawings along with their reference photos that could become paintings. These can be committed to for 25% of the total. The 25% deposit is not refundable.

Also possible are paintings that are a collaboration between you and me. I would love to participate in what is meaningful to you.  Maybe you have a special place to share with me.  How about a bottles painting in your garden? With glass pieces or a quilt that is from your family?  An aspect of the Virgin Mother that speaks to you could be envisioned in an environment you want to bring closer to you. Let’s create together.
