These paintings are of mostly local places in and around Puerto Vallarta. They record panga ocean trips and the Sierra Madre mountains behind the town. San Sebastian is a time-warp mining town now 1 ½ hours away. 10 years ago it was only reachable on a dusty precarious 7 hour-long road.
